The AAT Level 3 Bookkeeping course has two units and covers the following knowledge and skills:

Accounting principles for final accounts preparation
Advanced double-entry bookkeeping
Acquisition and disposal of non-current assets
Prepare and record depreciation calculations
Record period-end adjustments
Produce and extend the trial balance
Produce financial statements for sole traders and partnerships
Interpret financial statements using profitability ratios
Prepare accounting records from incomplete information
Understand legislation requirements relating to VAT
Calculate VAT
Review and verify VAT returns
Understand the principles of payroll
Report information within the organisation

Each unit has a computer assessment. Unit 1 is for 2.5 hours and unit 2 is for 1.5 hours. This can be taken whenever you are ready. The registration fee for this course is £91/- which is payable directly to AAT. Alternatively, you can pay us, and we will assist you in getting you registered with AAT.
